About RJStamford
Every side of cars and finance, under one roof.
Our Story
A background in more than one side of the industry.
Our roots include nearly 25 years working alongside partners deep in the trade, sourcing, buying and selling the kind of exclusive and high-value cars we now finance.
Alongside that, our team's background spans credit management and risk, and business development across both B2B and direct-to-client relationships. Bring it together and RJStamford becomes a genuinely multi-faceted group - a turnkey solution for sourcing and funding a high-value car, rather than several separate relationships to manage, with a straightforward and well-informed conversation from the very first call.
20+
Years of experience in vehicle sales, working with the cars we now finance.
15+
Years broking and funding high-value car finance, including time on the risk and sales side of a lender.
Our background spans the showroom, the lender's credit desk and the broker's chair - so we understand not just the car, but how the deal behind it really works.

How We Work
The old lending rulebook was never built for this market.
Business owners, entrepreneurs and high earners rarely have income that fits a high-street affordability box - and the cars we finance rarely fit a standard loan either. How a client manages their wealth differs from one person to the next, so we take a consultative approach: understanding your circumstances first, then structuring around you and the car - balloon payments, equity release, or something else entirely - arranged directly with the right lender.
It's an industry where headline terms don't always survive underwriting. We take a more considered approach, advising only on what we're confident can be delivered, so the outcome matches the conversation we had with you from the outset.
Every deal is reviewed by someone who understands both the car and the client, not scored by an algorithm. We think of finance broking as the unseen partner in that transaction - present between you and the dealer, but never the centre of attention - so buying the car feels seamless, rather than like a separate process running alongside it.
